In current time, there is an irrevocable trend that is famous as integration of world economy and globalization of competition. Meanwhile, China's gaining access to World Trade Organization (WTO) is sure to speed up the process of Chinese economy's being a part of world economy and Chinese market's being a part of global market. It is unreasonable to just keep foreign competitors out of China to protect Chinese industries. Chinese companies should try their best to compete in the global market.With long history in development, multinationals from developed countries and some new industrial countries have experienced much in adapting goals and strategies to changing inter and outer environments. They have been performing well and accumulating many skills in business, which is sure to benefit their farther development. As an organic part of global strategy, business localization has been used by multinationals as an effective measure to national and regional obstacles. Chinese companies also have been exploring in business internationalization and localization. By learning from their foreign counterparts' strong points to offset own weakness, Chinese companies can perform as well as or better than their competitors in global market.This paper can be divided into six chapters. The evolvement of foreign investment strategies of multinationals and the relevant theories are covered. includes national and regional obstacles in the way of multinationals'international integration, and the measure to the obstacles, business localization. The importance of keeping the balance between integration and localization is also involved . One can know multinationals'adjustments of investment policies in China after her being accepted by WTO. Meanwhile, The overview on multinationals'business localization can be got. Moreover, the analysis on Kentucky Fried Chicken's (KFC's) business localization in China is emphasized The review on the history of Chinese companies'internationalization is included. One can also get information about Chinese companies'drives on internationalization. Haier, a famous Chinese corporation, is the focus for her business localization oversea . At the end of this paper, there are the author's proposals on Chinese companies'internationalization based on before-mentioned analysis.
