The Empirical Study On The Relationship Between The Factors For Enterprise Competitive Intelligence System And The Enterprise Performance

Ihere is no doubt that with the introduction and application for Enterprise Competitive Intelligence System has an important value in the enterprise strategic planning, market behavior prediction, product development, and other key areas of business activities.However, which factors will affect the effective implementation of the competitive intelligence system and how to scientifically evaluate the operation of competitive intelligence system on the contribution of enterprise performance? These problems have not been satisfactorily resolved. Clearly, the resolution of these issues will affect not only the academic Competitive Intelligence System in-depth study, but also a direct impact on enterprise competitive intelligence systems and applications into effect.Therefore, this article researched the relationship between the factors for Enterprise Competitive Intelligence System and the enterprise performance, and had an attemptions to resolves the problem with the structural equation (SEM) method using the data gathered through a survey of 137 Chinese enterprises which been under effective competitive intelligence into enterprise systems, or similar conduct intelligence activities.This study routes summarized as follows : Firstly, afer the domestic and international literature research, this paper gives a new definition to the competitive intelligence system and analysis the might factors(competitive intelligence collection , analysis, services, implementation capabilities, anti-competitive intelligence capabilities, enterprises can effectively control the resources and enterprises external environment); then, formed a conclusion based on an analysis of 13 studies assumptions, and the design of 5 on the scale of competitive intelligence System Operation factors and the impact of the initial questionnaire enterprise performance. Research at the same time to ensure that the rigor of this two-stage questionnaire method used to collect, collate the relevant data, namely: small samples in the first stage of testing, mainly through the exploratory factor analysis simplified indicators, the preparation of the questionnaire after adjustment formal large samples of the "competitive intelligence systems operating factors and the impact of the relationship between corporate performance survey." In the second stage of the formal findings of the survey, the cumulative total of 850 questionnaires were sent out, 137 valid questionnaires recovered, and the success of a large sample data for the reliability and validity of the test. Finally, the article through structural equation model tested our partial initial hypotheses. among of these,nine hypotheses are tested:Hypothesis2-the intelligence analysis capabilities and the enterprise performance are a positive correlation;Hypothesis3-the intelligence services capabilities and the enterprise performance are a positive correlation;Hypothesis4- the intelligence implementation capabilities and the enterprise performance are a positive correlation;Hypothesis5- the internal resources that can be effective controlled by enterprises and and the enterprise performance are a positive correlation;Hypothesis8-intelligence collection capabilities and intelligence analysis capabilities are a positive correlation;Hypothesis9-intelligence analysis capabilities and intelligence service activities are a positive correlation;Hypothesis10-intelligence services and intelligence capabilities related activities for the implementation of capacity;Hypothesis11-the internal resources that can be effective controlled by enterprises and and the intelligence implementation capabilities are a positive correlation;Hypothesis12-the internal resources that can be effective controlled by enterprises and and the anti-competitive ability are a positive correlation. and two hypotheses are not verified:Hypothesis1-the intelligence collection capabilities and the enterprise performance are a positive correlation;Hypothesis6-the anti-competitive ability and the enterprise performance are a positive correlation. and two hypotheses are contrary to the initial assumptions:Hypothesis7-the external environment and the enterprise performance are a positive correlation;Hypothesis13-the external environment and the intelligence collection capabilities are a positive correlation.The article also gives the analysis conclusion,the significance of the management and study limitations.
