The Research Of Finance Efficiency

Along with China's economical system reform further deepen, finance as the core position in economics increasingly draws more attentions. However, through an integrative view of the finical development process of China in recent 20 years, it is easy to conclude: Chinese finance displays a structure having more quantitative increasing but lacking qualitative development. Financial efficiency is low. Concerning about Financial inefficiency in China, a country's economical development with regionalization features, the thesis combining the perspective of region to research financial efficiency will deepen financial efficiency acquired.After hackling the theories of financial efficiency, the thesis regarding commercial banks as the stance of financial efficiency research draws the technical efficiency, the net technical efficiency, scale efficiency, super-technical efficiency and Malmquist's index of production efficiency in the national and Shanghai region with a method of DEA(Data Envelopment Analysis). Then it further get the factors which affect Chinese commercial banks'financial efficiency with a panel data. Model .The results show that not also joint-equity commercial banks but also state-owned commercial banks all perform low efficiency and efficiency of commercial banks affects by profitability, ownership structure and cost control variation.By distinct contrast, commercial banks overall manifest higher efficiency and perfect finance system as well as violent competent framework have obvious effect on commercial banks efficiency. The empirical research still finds that the efficiency of state-owned commercial banks in Shanghai region is higher than that of joint-equity commercial banks in Shanghai region. And that gives some references for the further reform. On the basis of financial efficiency research, the thesis proposes some countermeasures to raise financial efficiency--- penetrating deeply financial system reforms and state-owned enterprises reforms.
