Research On The Yunnan Railway Transportation Developing The Modern Logistics Industry

The quick development of the modern logistics industry is an inevitable request for the twenty-first century world industrial restructuring. How to meet customer requirements that products diversification and demand for timeliness, and how to provide personalized design and logistics programs for customers, greatly increasing cargo products, and raising the standard of services at the same time lowing the cost of the services and so on, which become an important means that rail transport long-term survival and faster development. In addition, these are also to be considered and improved that rail transport takes advantage in various competition.First of all, the paper analyzed the development of rail freight, expounded the theory of modern logistics and methods, and compared the modern logistics industry and the traditional distinction. Then, the paper used SWOT method to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of rail freight developing of modern logistics. The necessity, importance and feasibility of rail freight to the development of modern logistics is importantly discussed. In this paper, it analyzed Yunnan external and internal environment that rail freight develops modern logistics industry. The Yunnan railway is acted as research object. The paper also studied demand situation of the Yunnan railway freight transport. And based on demand analysis, the paper used linear regression model for rail freight forecast. The urgency of Yunnan Railway developing modern logistics is pointed out.The paper mainly gave overall strategy that the Yunnan railroad developing modern logistics from the hardware and the software aspects. In hardware aspect, the implementation of the strategy was proposed from three aspects for example constructing the railroad big channel, modern logistics center, and modern logistics information system and so on. In software aspect, countermeasure was also given from three ways for example consummating the transportation system way, developing railroad freight transportation service function and raising modern logistics distribution talented person and so on. These have certain guiding senseregarding the Yunnan railroad to develop modern logistics.
