In the last decades of 20th century, with the development of finance innovation and the progress of globalization, the mixed operation of finance has become the trend of international financial industry. After China entering the WTO, its financial institutions were faced with severe challenges. Faced with the trend of mixed operation of finance, whether our financial system should take on mixed operation of finance and what pattern should we use are very important questions that deserve deep research.First of all, the paper start's with the definition of mixed operation of finance. It explains Micro organizational model of mixed operation of finance, including financial holding company of America and universal bank of German. Than I use the Transaction Cost Theory and Synergistic Effect Theory to discuss mixed operation of finance. Focus the efficiency analysis on the financial holding company and discusses it how to change the way of mixed operation of finance. At last, the paper use analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to analyze the risk of financial holding company and proposes suggestions on the internal control mechanism and external supervision mechanism.The paper adopts method of comparative analysis, empirical analysis, case analysis and some math models to answer the following four questions: firstly, why mix operation has higher efficiency? Secondly, how other countries achieve mix operation? And what type of organization do they adopt? Thirdly, how our country's financial industry fit the international trend of mix operation? Fourthly how we deal with the risk of financial holding company. From the four questions raised above, the paper builds basic logical architecture.
