Study On Limits Of Fuel Consumption Of Commercial Vehicle For Passenger Transportation

At present, shortage of energy supply is a bottleneck problem that restrains the rapid and stable development of national economy of China, the solution to the energy problem is getting to be a significant strategy for social stability and economic sustainable development. Traffic and transportation industry is one of the service industries as well as the foundation of the national economy. On the one hand, it provides solid guarantee for the development of Chinese economy, on the other hand, it is a major industry that possesses and consumes much energy sources. Road transportation consumes much chemical and petroleum sources each year, such as petrol and diesel oil, which accounts for an increasing ratio of petroleum energy consumption in China. Therefore, it will provide a great effect on the energy saving and pollution discharge to control the use of high-energy-consumption vehicles in road transportation.Firstly, this dissertation studies the code and regulation of fuel consumption of vehicles home and abroad, investigates the fuel consumption limits in other countries and uses them as reference for determining the fuel consumption limits of China; secondly, the data of equal-speed fuel consumption of Chinese passenger vehicle are collected and researched, a measuring method for fuel consumption verifying test is formulated in accordance with the special situation of China, a concept named comprehensive fuel consumption is suggested on the basis of above research, and a classification of vehicles is determined; accordingly, the distribution verification is made for the equal-speed fuel consumption curve of each class of vehicle, a calculation model of fuel consumption limits under corresponding elimination rate, and a corresponding fuel consumption limits are offered through calculating, and in the end, such limits are compared with related standard limits in other countries, so that the difference between them is provided.Based on a good deal of investigation and test verification, this dissertation accurately makes clear the fuel consumption degree of commercial vehicle for passenger transportation in China, takes the trend of relevant international standard into consideration as well as the actual demand of road transportation, provides fuel consumption limits of commercial vehicle for passenger transportation that can serve as an instruction for the control of fuel consumption in vehicle manufacturing and road transportation industry and can drive the technological improvement, which is significant for regulating the development road transportation industry in China, and will achieve outstanding effect on energy saving and pollution discharge.
