The Research On The Two-dimensional Model Of Product Family Optimized Design And Its Related Methods

Being a nascent flied; product family optimized design is a newly emerging science and technology, accompanied by mass customization. The basic idea of product family optimized design is combination of product-related multi-disciplinary expertise and the concept and technology of product family structure, as product platform strategy a guide; products design and products platform design based on the relevant products platform for different needs of customers is to low the cost and development cycle to meet customer's individual requirements.This paper mainly study how the two- dimensional model of product family optimized design use in product family optimized design which bases on the two- dimensional model of product family optimized design, and how the bi-level programming use in product family design. Its mainly contents contain:Firstly, the background and significance of this paper is described. According as the relevant documentation of product family design in home and abroad, this paper analysis the research status of this field in home and abroad, and describes the mainly contents of this paper.Secondly, the two-dimensional model of product family optimized design is introduced. Then, this paper uses systems analysis methods to analysis the process-dimensional and structure-dimensional, digs the cascading formulation during the process of product family optimized design, study whether the two-dimensional model and bi-level model use in product family design.Thirdly, the basic bi-level model is elaborated; the needs of customers are translated into design parameters, and we use these parameters to build bi-level model of product family design. Moreover, the solution methods of bi-level model are described.Fourthly, the basic thoughts of optimization software are expressed, the system analysis chart about the bi-level model based on two-dimensional model and optimization software operation flow chart are discussed. This makes product family optimized design closer to the technical level.Fifthly, the example of general motors product family is used to introduce the two-dimensional model. Through this example, the methods of analyzing the process-dimensional and structure-dimensional's cascading formulation are introduced. The bi-level programming model and methods are applied in the process of general motors product family optimized design.
