With the further development of project contract mode and the diversity ofinvestment, the contract mode has got much development. The EPC (Engineering,Procurement and Construct)mode has became the most popular in domestic market asfor the employers'preference and its superiority in resource allocating and synthesisbenefit.Complexityofthemodeitsownhasandtoomanycrossingworkexistingthatmakes the work for assessing safety of EPC project became more difficult, whichbrings challenge to conduct the EPC project. In order to improve the efficiency inEPC project safety management and exert the advantage of EPC contractmode ,quantitative math method is used to give assessment of the whole EPC projectsafety .In the basic of reading massive literature and statistic the opinion of expert,EPC project safety assessment guideline system is built in this text firstly ,which isbase on experts'opinion and construction safety check list ;and then the AnalyticalHierarchy Process(AHP) method is used to build a model of EPC project safetyassessment; after that a specific case is introduced to calculate the safety with thismodel, and the analysis for the case can lead to an intuitionistic and clearunderstanding of the key points in EPC project safety management. The EPC projectsafety assessment model that built in this text can used to assess the safety of anspecific EPC project according to its project scheme ,which is meaningful tocontrolling risk in advance ,preventing safety accident and improve the efficiency ofprojectsafetymanagement.
