Study Of The Relationship Between Safety Climate And Safety Performance Of The Nano-enterprise

With the development of nanotechnology, many international organizations around the world have started to pay attention to its performance in the occupational safety health and the social phenomenon related. And they expect to carry out the management activity on the occupational safety health by systematization's method, to satisfy the legal rule and the demand of operation on business policy and to cut the probability of professional disaster to promote the enterprise to develop continually. In view of the fact that there has not yet been the application in the Nano-enterprise's research in domestic and foreign related literatures in the present, and in the Nano-enterprises, the reason why professional disasters occur are divided into many-factors, such as individual, machinery, environment, organization, and so on. Therefore, this paper focus on the way how safety climate helps improve safety performance, discusses the function mechanism between safety climate and safety performance through the empirical analysis and puts forward proposals on safety management to the operators of Nano-enterprises.This paper focus on the way how safety climate helps improve safety performance. By literature review, interview research and questionnaire survey research, this paper confirmed that the safety climate in Nano-enterprises mainly contains five dimensions: Leaders' safety attention, Safety management practice, Safety training surrounding, Employees' safety attitude and Risk perception. Based on this, we get the conclusions about the mechanism how safety climate affects safety performance.The conclusions are as follows:(1) Safety knowledge mediates the relationship between Leaders' safety attention and Safety compliance.(2) Safety management practice predicts the safety compliance directly, while the relationship between Safety management practice and Safety participation is partly mediated by Safety motivation.(3) Current "Safe training surrounding" in Nano-enterprises can't predict the safety performance effectively.(4) The relationship between Employees' safety attitude and Safety compliance is mediated by Safety knowledge and Safety motivation. While Employees' safety attitude predicts the Safety participation directly. (5) Safety knowledge mediates the relationship between Risk perception and Safety participation.(6) Industry character moderates the relationship between Safty practice and Safety motivation and Industry character also moderates the relationship between Employees' safty attitude and Safety motivation...
