Employment is an important view which we observe women's economic rights and social status. As the socio-economic structural reform and continuous perfecting of labor market, the employment situation of women, especially married women, is also experiencing great changes in conditions of the market economy. From the perspective of Home Economics, this dissertation researches on the issues of married women employment decision-making to achieve the maximum family utility. Basing on the review of past research, it analyzes the impact factors of married women labor force supply. Then, combining with owned data, using compare analysis and the method of theoretical and empirical research combing, it discusses the impact factors and their mechanism on the married women labor force supply. At last, it advances some policy suggestions about ameliorating the Chinese married women employment situation. At the empirical research part, this dissertation uses the data of the China Health and Nutrition Survey in 1993 and 2004, choosing married women as the research objects which are from eight provinces in China. Then it selects PROBIT Model for impact factor analysis of obtain employment behavior, and it selects OLS Model for impact factor analysis of working time decision. According to this, it takes a systematical research on the determinant factors and their fluctuation of married women labor force supply. Further, it compares the relevant different conditions between the front and the back of the economic system reform, and also those between the town and the village. The findings of descriptive research on status of the married women labor force supply indicate, people's behavior of labor force supply is changing greatly along with the raising of marketing level of labor resources collocation. The "Economic Sense" begins to take effect on the decision of married women labor force supply. This decision is increasingly and intensively effected by own human capital factors and the related family factors, especially by the children fostering factors. This conclusion proves that the descending of Chinese married women's FLFPR is the independent choice below the family re-division of work. The results of empirical research on the decision of married women labor force supply indicate, the factors of age, healthy condition and children's age range take notable negative effect on the decision of married women labor force supply. And the education level factor takes notable positive effect. Because of economic and cultural differences, the factors of husband working time, unhealthy children's number, total children's number take notable negative effect on the employment aspiration of married women in town, but unapparent effect or positive effect on married women in village. In addition, married women in town have low employment aspiration when they have children from the 0 to2 years old. This factor's effect becomes lighter when their children's age is up to more than 3 years old. But in village, this factor always takes effect when they have underage children. In a word, comparing to that of village married women, labor force supply decision model of town married women has a more suitable result for the forecast of common preference theory, which belonging to Home Economics field.
