The Study Of Chinese Regional Entrepreneurial Environment Assessment

The research in this paper is a part of a scientific funds research program, A Study on the Mechanism of Startups Establishment and Early Growth, Based on Resources Perspective. The paper mainly worked on an assessment model for regional entrepreneurial environment in China, and also analyzed the environmental influences on the entrepreneur behaviors.The essay mostly studied the regional entrepreneurial environment in China .The objective was to optimize regional entrepreneurial environment through impersonal valuing and analyzing the influence of entrepreneurial environment to entrepreneurial action .Entrepreneurial phenomenon had arisen people's attention .At the same time ,a lot of scholar had been researching this field .About the research of entrepreneurial action ,different scholars have different content .However ,two most important study topics are :entrepreneurial opportunity and entrepreneurial environment .So ,it is meaningful to study the regional entrepreneurial environment .Gnyawali and Fogel's conceptual framework about entrepreneurial environment is the most classical framework .This article is based on this framework ,in accordance with the actual situation of entrepreneurial environment re-design conceptual framework about entrepreneurial environment .Making an objective analysis about the regional entrepreneurial environment of Jilin Province by using empirical research methods combined with the expert scoring method .Furthermore ,through analyzing the influence mechanism of entrepreneurial environment to entrepreneurial action ,evaluate the regional entrepreneurial environment of Jilin Province . In compare with the province where entrepreneurial activities are better ,making some suggestions about the regional entrepreneurial environment of Jilin Province , in order to optimize the entrepreneurial environment of Jilin Province to provide a strong reference .There are 5 chapters, following are structures and summaries of each. Chapter 1 Introduction: Mainly discussed the backgrounds, objectives and meanings of this research, and then introduced the content in study and methods used. Chapter 2 Theories Overview: First, the paper summarized relative research outcomes on entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial environment to build a fundament for further research; second, collected results on entrepreneurial environment system before, summed up how the entrepreneurial environment factor influenced entrepreneurship.Chapter 3, Design for the Regional Entrepreneurial Environment Assessment Model: Primarily discussed the necessity to build this assessment model; then determined the principles of choosing assessment index. After that, the paper introduced the classical five-dimensional model's structure and application, based on which, built up a creative entrepreneurial environment assessment system. At the end of chapter 5, the impact of five-dimensional model for entrepreneurship was analyzed, in order to show the importance of this research. Chapter 4, Empirical Research on Jilin Regional Entrepreneurial Environment: In this part, the assessment system was practiced to analyze the entrepreneurial environment in Jilin. The empirical research was designed including respondents, methods, surveys and data analysis. Then assessed Jilin`s environment by comparing statistic data with Guangdong, the approach could show their differences directly. By the contrast assessment, advanced proposals for improving Jilin`s entrepreneurial environment.Chapter 5, Conclusion: Summed up the research, demonstrated the conditions of Jilin`s entrepreneurial environment:(1)The original five dimensions based on the classic model with modifications to adapt to the new requirements, redesign of the application of a more entrepreneurial environment assessment system. Related to basic theory in the review based on the entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial environment and theoretical evaluation of model-related literature are reviewed, and then build a new theoretical model.(2)Improving the original empirical methods and using expert scoring method, we will give the entrepreneurial environment of Jilin Province a rational evaluation. In earlier research, using the way of questionnairing to a large number of small businesses,this is not only the effect of poor recovery, and the levels of a questionnaire filled out.It is difficult to guarantee the quality of the questionnaire, and the difficulty of obtaining a sufficient number of questionnaires to cover all sectors of small and medium-sized enterprises, to ensure that research is reasonable and fair. In this paper, using the expert scoring method, we make the high point of a summary of the current situation in the Jilin Province.(3)Through empirical research and assessment analysis, we found there is still a big gap between Jilin Province and Guangdong Province. Government policies and financial support for the formation of entrepreneurial opportunities are the two most critical factors, but in Jilin Province on the performance of these two are very much to be desired, the indicator of the general level is very difficult to achieve, and even some indicators of access to all of the lowest evaluation score, hindered the development of entrepreneurial environment in Jilin Province and the formation of entrepreneurial opportunities. Finally highlight the creations, limitations in this paper and also prospects for future research.
