All objects in space possess potential energy, transmitting and disfussing potential energy all the time. In regional development, the potential energy is working in forms of product flow, capital flow, technology flow, and information flow. The flows spread from the central area, and converge in different areas around the central area, thus combining with the local original natural and social fators and promoting the development of local economy.Villiage is a micro-regional system, exchanging people, capital, technology and information with the outside world, causing significant influence upon village and local regional economic development. In rural areas, rural households and enterprises compoese the most fundamental object in economic activities. The formal and inforam connections among information, capital, market, labor, product, technology are striking impetus for rural economic development. Previous Scholars tended to analyse the gaps of village and regional economy form perspectives of culture institutions, geography and labor, capital, etc. However, they neglected the cominination of village-level elements and its influence on regional economic development.Under theoretical support of small-peasant economy, spatial interaction, the polarization-trickling-down effect, the paper makes an autocorrelation analysis of 292 administrative villages of Gongyi City. Comprehensive researches are conducted in four villages among fanners and enterprises. An inter-village database was established based on 5334 data items, also combining inputs from Statistical Yearbook of Gongyi City in 1990, 1991, 1997, 1998, 2005, 2006 and 2007, land use maps and remote sensing image. Afterwards, with the application of SPSS software, we made principal component analysis, regression analysis. Via use of ArcGIS software, we did spatial analysis tools, analysing inter-linked differences in the villages from the following dimentions: spatial scale, hierarchical links, economic potential differences, and contact frequency. Analyisis also conducted on the differences of inter-village spacial contact and its impacts on village economic development. Conclusions are summarized as follows:(1) Different modes of spatial association of the village vary a lost in spatial connection. Rural household links:①Wu Luo farmers have compatatively strongest links in terms of agriculture production; space contact is with obvious directivity; the contact in the village-level is dominating, focusing on the village ranging from 10~15km and 5km of the city and the town. There are also strong economic potential difference;②Farmers of Lao Jing Gou have strong connctions in terms of non-agricultural areas, ranging from 5~10 km around the village, and possing a high potential difference with relevant village.③Lao Jing Gou and Wu Luo have similar daily connecionts, while farmers of Luo Quan and Nan Zhuang has more capital exchanges, besides their own village, the emergency funds mainly come from relatives and friends of surrounding villages and towns. All the connections take place in the surrounding villages within 10km village. In terms of enterprises connections, farmer of Lao Jing is much stonger than other 3 villages, and Nanzhuang is relatively weak. Connections mainly concentrated in the sales chain and staff chain; connection range is 5~10 km from the village and associating villages have greater economic potential difference, thus stimulating the economic growth.(2) Inter-village spacial contact has an important contribution to economic growth.①Inter-village space associations have a postitive corelation with economic development. Its contribution to economic development is much larger than the original village's economic base, namely when the economic growth of adjacent village increases by 1 percent, there will be each an increase of 3.19 percent in the sample villages.②Conneciton networks of rural households and enterprise level have a strikingly different contribution to village economic development. The corelation coefficient between economic development is as high as 0.956, while enterprise associations is 0.087, indicating that in the less developed rural areas the farmers' contribution to economic growth is larger than enterprises which is different form the coastal village areas.③Inter-village contact have more influnces on upgrading the industrial structure. Corelation coefficient between contact of rural households and the industrial structure is 0.644, and 1 for each additional agricultural ties, the evolution of the industrial structure will increase the value by 0.557. There are also close relationship between business contacts and the evolution of the domain structure, but the extent abated compated with the rural households contact. Whichever is the correlation coefficient is 0.482, and the enterprise value of each additional exchange of 1, the evolution of the industrial structure will increase the value by 0.143, indicating that the village contact will promote its industrial structure towards the high grade evolution.(3) Different degrees of village contact led to the big difference in village economy.①Spacial contacts lead to differences in degree of contact with the village model of spatial-temporal evolution , namely dramatic changes in the overall; diffusing effect of the district focus on a growing trend; polarization effect and the spatial distribution of the region tends to reduce fragmentation; transition zone is significantly marginalized; primary slow growth axis distribution come into being;②Different degree of contact with the village led to various types of domain differences in economic activities, namely, the diffusing effect of the agricultural link is the main reason for economic growth; non-agricultural polarization effect associated with the domain of the village have had a significant impact; domain of the village of transition effects, and agricultural production, non-agricultural production and daily life of its negative effects; the daily lives of low-speed links is one of the reasons for economic growth in the area, but relatively weak;③viallage exhange is one of the reasons for incrasing difference in village-level economic development. In 1990, a study of four villages on the economic development gap indicated that the coefficient of variation was 0.5218, for the extreme gap 3.0380,1996, the coefficient of variation increased to 0.3339, 2.4804 maximum gap for the latter economic development gap between the year-on-year increase, as at the end of 2007, increased to maximum, that is, 0.5603, 5.6759 maximum gap also increased, indicating that the economy is relatively developed for the village of domain polarization effect through its links to deprive the village of Victoria's economic development opportunity to intensify its economic disparities, resulting in the emergence of rich and poor differentiation.
