Being a new branch subject, tourism aesthetics plays an extra important role in the whole tourism discipline system. However, owing to the lagging of research and materials building, there are still a series of problems about the teaching content of tourism aesthetics. The research involves a core issue: to integrate a new teaching content system of tourism aesthetics, which aims to re-think the orientation of this subject in the curricula system of tourism management, to enhance the quality of teaching activity and to promote the development of tourism aesthetics.Based on the theory of teaching, aesthetics and tourism discipline, the thesis makes a further discussion on the integration of course content of tourism aesthetics. During the research, the author firstly makes a comparative analysis among different editions teaching materials of tourism aesthetics and conducts a survey among the teachers from different tourism colleges of higher learning, trying to generalize the existing issues. Then, according to the orientation among the course arrangement and the latest theoretical achievements of aesthetics and tourism discipline, the author designs a new content system of tourism aesthetics, striving to make up the blank in the field of teaching research of tourism aesthetics.The framework of this article as follows:Chapter one: the introduction, including the significance,the main issues,the methods and so on;Chapter two: the literature review, concerning the collation and analysis of teaching materials and academic papers to make clear the present research situation of tourism aesthetics,the existing issues and the divergences etc;Chapter three: the issues existing in the present course content, which are based on the collation and analysis of different editions teaching materials and a depth interview among the teachers from different tourism colleges of higher learning;Chapter four: the core of the research,that is, the construction of a new course content system. At first, the author makes a re-orientation of tourism aesthetics among the whole curricula system. Then abiding by the integrating principles, the author designs a new content system consisting of three modules, including the function,the detailed content of each module etc;Chapter five: the conclusion, with regard to the major opinions,the innovations and the deficiencies.
