The Quality Management Of Chinese Pharmaceutical Suppliers By Astrazeneca Under Outsourcing Environment

Under the good circumstance that Multinational pharmaceutical company is moving soucring into China, this thesis focuses on dicussing how Chinese suppliers improve their quality management to meet the requirement.The author started from the main quality management issues of Chinese suppliers, took suppliers quality management of AstraZeneca as the example to illustrate the suppliers management evolutive process, discussed from supplier prespective how to build good quality system through sourcing project and finally used a case to validate the author's standpoint.The article mainly includes four parts, in first part, it described what the outsoucing is, illustrate the current staus of Chinese outsourcing, its trend and challenges and discussed the main issues of quality management of Chinese suppliers by using the trend of FDA inspection. In the second part, the article introduced the supplier management requirement of multinational company by taking the evolvement at Astrazeneca as an example. In the last part, the article discussed how Chinese pharmaceutical supplier manages an outsourcing project to meet customer requirements. Finally the author took an outsourcing project between Supplier A and AstraZeneca as an example to discuss and illustrate the way to improve quality management to meet the requirement.
