Study On China's Agricultural Products Logistics Cost

Agriculture is the basic industry of national economy,and the healthy development of agriculture and rural economy affects overall situation of national economy.In recent years,the development of agriculture in our country has been laggard,and it is difficult to increase the farmers' income.The reasons are various, but one of the important reasons is that the agricultural product circulation is not smooth, which is manifested in the followings:the efficiency of agricultural product circulation is low,the cost of circulation is high and the wastage is great.But the lag of the farm product logistics becomes the key factor which affects the free circulation of agricultural product.Therefore,the development of agricultural product logistics and reducing logistics cost are extremely necessary.On the basis of such background,follow the principle of the combination of theory and practice,the author utilized the method of combining the qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis,combining the micro analysis and macro analysis,and combining the standardized research and positive research,to conduct a further study on cost management of China's agricultural products logistics by summarizing the development of logistics theory in China and some other countries and considering realities of logistics development in our country.The author hopes to probe the way to set up the modern logistics cost management that is suitable to our country's situation and our agricultural product logistics condition.By taking the study,the author also expects to provide the valuable research result for China's agricultural product logistics management.The whole thesis consists of four chapters:Chapter one,IntroductionThis chapter presents the backgrounds and the theory,on which this study based. And then,an overall survey about conditions of the study on logistics theory and the development of logistics in China and some other countries is made.The last part introduces the significances and possible innovations of the research.Chapter Two,Status quo of Agricultural Product Logistics DevelopmentBecause of the agricultural product logistics starts late in our country,the development is still very immature and people still have much misty understanding,the writer systemically expounds the basic theories of the agricultural product logistics, including the connotation,particularity and agricultural product supply chain. Furthermore,detailed introduces the historical reform and current characteristics of China's agricultural product circulation system.Chapter three,Summarization of the China's Agricultural Product Logistics CostThis part gives a classificatory introduction to the concept of logistic cost first, based on the introduction,it classifies the agricultural products logistics cost into seven part.And then particularly discusses the reason of over high agricultural products logistics cost in China,such as the low efficiency of logistics structure;the insufficiency of specific asset investment.At last,this part analyzes the reasons for why it is difficult to manage the agricultural products logistics cost.Chapter four,the Possible Method to Reduce Cost of Agricultural Product LogisticsThis chapter combines the above analysis,surrounds closely the problems existing in the agricultural product logistics,and puts forward concrete suggestion for further development:Set up agricultural product supply chain under agricultural industrialization mode;Develop actively the third party logistics;Strengthen infrastructure construction and develop agricultural cold chain logistics;and Set up accounting system for the cost of agricultural product logistics.
