With the development of the information technology, the bank's informatioanization level is continuously increased. The bank's informatioanization represents a brand-new operation mode and a brand-new way of thinking. The informatioanization brings strategic transformation to traditional banking industry and causes it to transform from a financial agency to a payment agency and from a product service center to a client service center. Its profit emphasis will be also shifted. The banking industry under the condition of informatioanization gains a brand-new operation and management system and a business operation mode. The informatioanization can be effectively carried out only when the informatioanization strategy is mutually integrated with the bank's operation strategy. Furthermore, the issuess of the informatioanization, operation and management efficiency, and business process reengineering of commercial banks have to be properly dealt with.This article makes an analysis on advantages and disadvantages of commercial banks under the condition of informatioanization by using SWOT method. The article brings forward corresponding transformation measures in the operation strategy and management mode that commercial banks should take by analyzing changes of the internal and external business environment of the commercial banks under the condition of informatioanization. In addition, the article makes a summary of the existing issues and the risks that commercial banks are likely to face during the informatioanization, that is, technical risk, strategic risk, and reputational risk. The existence of these risks is not conducive to enhance the ability of commercial banks to survive and grow in the information age, to improve the operation and management level of the commercial banks, and to boost the sustainabe, fast, and healthy growth of the national economy. This article brings forward feasible countermeasures through an analysis of these issues.
