Recently, some research institutes and scholars in home and abroad explore and research on the risk of credit card operation business, which promotes the precaution of the risk of credit card business, but it would be development on theory and practice. This dissertation chose Hunan branch of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China to research to enrich the theory and method of management so as to promote cultivation and enhancement of management of risk.In the research process, many methods are adopted comprehensively such as documents research method, factor analytic method, comparative analytic method with aids of higher Mathematics method and computer application, with synthesis of quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis, systematical analysis and dialectical analysis. It follows the logical system from risk of credit card business theory to actuality, eventually to practical analysis. From a new perspective, the dissertation establishes a comparatively perfect theoretical system frame for operational risk measurement and conducts some practical research.First,this dissertation carries on a comparatively profound and systematical research into the current evaluation of risk of credit card business theory. Second, the paper introduces the basic situation of this bank, with the stress on this organization's existent problems and the reasons of operation risk management. Thirdly, the paper expounds all kinds of operational risk measurement and chooses income model that is most fit for this bank. Finally,on the basis of improvement, this thesis measured its operation risk capital and advanced suggestions to further improve credit card service operation risk management for its existing problems.
