The first sentence of The Profit Zone written by Professor is that the most primary problem in the commercial field is the profit nowadays. The foundation that enterprises exist is the profit, Sustained profitability is the essential goal of corporate strategy. The enterprises of the dairy industry are facing the same problem. In recent years, the profit rate of the dairy industry drops year by year. If enterprises can get maximizing market share a decade ago, then the profits will follow into enterprises. It seems that such an assumption may no longer become reality nowadays. Throughout the development course of the dairy industry, a few enterprises ever had become the champion of dairy industry. but but no company can sustain this status long time. The latecomer may have competitive capability on a certain value element, the resources advantages with some more respect or technological innovation capability more than the former, but all these analysis are from a single angle. if we can analyze it with a systematic point, we will find that the winner have a unique profit mode according to the customer preferences and enterprise's own resources and capability. Therefore, they have made the competition advantage on the profit mode, but not the competition advantage of enterprise's single value elements.This paper attempts to research on the profit modes of the three well-known dairy enterprises during they are the champion of the dairy industry from the strategic aspect Their profit modes can be regarded as the model of the profit mode of dairy industry for all periods, the change of their status in the dairy industry is decided by each profit mode.In the course of analyzing the profit mode of three enterprises, we will find their profit mode can enable them to obtain their high-margin profit, because they can master the value shift trend of dairy industry, and be sensitive to discover the turning point of the value shift of dairy industry. And value shift due to changes in customer preferences. Only if the enterprises more understand the customer, it can master the value shift trend, design better profit mode to satisfy customers and finally get the lasting profit. Sanlu milk powder" incident in 2008 bought a serious influence on the whole dairy industry.From the viewpoint of enterprise's profit mode, the incident exposed the defects of the existing profit mode of dairy industry, and tell them how to design their own profit mode. Summarizing experience and fault of the existing enterprise's profit mode, this paper proposes some ideas for the profit mode which dairy industry enterprises can adopt in the future.This paper aims at improving dairy enterprise's management level, and offering the feasible suggestions to strengthen enterprise's competition advantage. Help the dairy industry enterprises of our country to play a greater role in national economy.
