A Study Based On Supply Chain In Bonded Logistics Performance Measurement

Bonded logistics is kind of logistics management mode which emerges because of global operation of transnational corporations,the updating and upgrading of manufacturing,the development of international distribution and the innovations in transportation,production and marketing.Under the influence of global economic integration,the biggest problem of supply chain management is the integration and coordination of the flow of goods,information and capital among different countries. In the cross-border supply chain,bonded logistics reduces inventory carrying cost on the node of cross-border supply chain by the methods of the drawback in advance and tax protection,which can reduce the total inventory carrying cost further.On the other hand,the total inventory carrying cost of the supply chain also can be reduced by improving customs clearance process of bonded logistics and increasing the rate of inventory turnover.This paper aims to conduct a research on bonded logistics from the supply chain perspective,specifically to measure the effect of bonded logistics on supply chain performance from the microscopic view.Firstly,this paper reviews the related theories on the performance measurement of supply chain and bonded logistics.It involves three methods of the performance measurement of supply chain,the economic effects of bonded logistics and six typical service modes.On such a basis,the method of system dynamics is brought into this paper and Vensim software is used to build the models concerning the supplier management inventory modes belonging to six typical service models of bonded logistics.Then, Vensim software is used to do the simulation and the simulated results are analyzed in terms of the theory of the EVA-based performance measurement of supply chain. Then,this paper draws a conclusion that bonded logistics can reduce costs effectively and improve the performance of the supply chain in the cross-border supply chain.At last,the models and the specific case are combined for the practical application.
