A Research On The Development Of Sport Tourism In Dalian

Sport tourism which is a new type of tourism combining tourism with sports becomes to a favorite of tourists as the development of sports industry and tourism industry. Dalian is rich in sport tourism resources and has a large market of sport tourism. This thesis mainly studies how to utilize the advantages of sport tourism in Dalian to promote the city image and increase the benefits from sports industry and tourism industry. This thesis starts with the status quo of the sport tourism in China and the world to explain the concept, characters and significance of sport tourism. In the thesis, the author analyzes the status quo and requirements of the sport tourism in Dalian, and provides the development guideline of the sport tourism in Dalian. The overall and strategic goal is to turn Dalian into"a city of physical culture tourism" The paper suggests that on the basis of existing resources of its physical culture tourism, a variety of products of physical culture tourism can be developed such as sports event watching, seashore entertainment and sports stimulating, sided a variety of feature products of physical culture tourism and producing a series of famous brands of physical culture tourism which are sustainable developing,fit for long一lasting operation, take on the local features and develop systematically.
