| With the development of technology and the globalization of economy, the marketing competition is getting more and more serious which most companies are facing now. As a major sub-strategy of company's competition strategy, supply chain management enable the company to take use of outside resource, enhance its own advantage and finally improve its competency. The sub-strategy should be consistent with the competition strategy and the right tactics should be set up and implemented.This thesis presented the history and definition of SCM (Supply Chain management) together with the basic concepts of supply chain firstly. Also, it analyzed the current situation and trend of IC industry. After that, it gave the background of Renesas and its great China competition strategy together with the running supply chain execution. Based on the understanding of the company strategy and the SC mode, it pointed out problems of current supply chain and highlighted those which were unmatched with company strategy in current operation. To search for a sound resolution, it analyzed the internal and external situation of the company, then figured out a feasible China supply chain strategy which was fully matched with company's strategy and met its benefit.
