Based on the research on the development of electricity market at home and aboard, this paper tries to develop the market model of hydro-thermal coordinate system and gives the bidding strategy for hydropower suppliers. This paper takes the characteristics of hydropower and market into the analysis. The market model and the strategy can make hydropower participat in the electricity marker easily.First of all, this paper makes a research on operation mode, trade model and settlement mechanism of the hydro-thermal electricity market.Then, this paper emphasizes on giving the strategies for hydropower suppliers, which take maximum income to be their objective function. This research is considering single-period and multi-period based on the non-cooperative game theory and evolutionary game theory under the mechanisms of MCP (Market Cleaning Price) bidding mechanism. GSA (Genetic Simulated Annealing) mix iterative algorithm is used to solve the multi-period non-cooperative game theory. The GSA contains the advantage both of GA (Genetic Algorithm) and SA (Simulated Annealing Algorithms), which has good search performance on both global and local. And the iterative improve the calculation accuracy.This paper introduces the evolutionary game theory analysis each suppliers' strategy. Evolutionary game theory which combain the game theory and evolulation theory causes the supposition strip even more close to real situation, which makes the research based on game theory more accurate. This paper uses the discrete dynamic system which based on its replicated dynamic equation to describe the suppliers' bidding and doing a choice process.In a word, this paper gives the whole strategy based on two kind of game theory for different hydropower suppliers in different period. This paper also provides a hydropower suppliers bidding strategy support system based on Matlab programming language.
