Research On Effectiveness Of Projects Of Baimaxueshan National Nature Reserve In Yunnan Province

The contradiction between biodiversity conservation and society economic growth is a world problem, discuss how to effectively relate biodiversity conservation and social economic growth has already become an important issue of the study on strategies of sustainable development,and catches attention from government departments and non-governmental organizations day by day.This research is a case study of Baimaxueshan National Nature Reserve,comprehensively summarizes a variety of conservation and development projects implemented by government departments and non-governmental organizations.Hope that through a comprehensive analysis of the project,to seek a possible way of coordinating economical and environmental development,and then to provide a basis of coordinating the relationship between biodiversity protection and economic development.The paper reflected projects and its fund distribution in space by means of GIS,points chosen and its investment were analyzed with regard to the division of the nature reserve and Yunnan golden monkeys. What's more,analysis of the effect of the specific project was done by PRA method.The results showed that: 1.there's institutionalized poverty in projects on poverty support and ecology construction;2.some functions of the government are replaced by non-governmental organizations;3.community development projects are helpful to the biodiversity conservation;4.community co-management construction is helpful to community comprehensive development.
