Study On Identification And Management Of High Conservation Value Forest In Guangxi Shiwandashan Nature Reserve

Guangxi Shiwandashan Nature Reserve plays an important role in the protection of the local ecological environment and biodiversity,to carry out the reserves of high conservation value forest identification and management measures to effectively protect the reserve biological resources and forest ecosystem has a very vital significance.In this paper,according to the concept of high conservation value forest what was put forward by the FSC,Guangxi Shiwandashan Nature Reserve as the research object,combining with the present situation of Guangxi Shiwandashan Nature Reserve based on previous studies,by using the method of statistical analysis,it is concluded that the high conservation value forest identification and results of the reserves,and according to the study on protection and management strategies for forest types.The main results show that:(1)The types of high conservation value forest in reserve:Guangxi Shiwandashan Nature Reserve high conservation value forests included biodiversity high conservation value forests,landscape diversity high conservation value forests,ecological system diversity high conservation value forests,ecological service function high conservation value forests,social service function high conservation value forests and traditional culture high conservation value forests.Each type of high conservation value forest area was 13284.3 hectares,17006.8 hectares,7430.2 hectares,37625.4hectares,635.5 hectares,5295.5 hectares,and the total area was 47029.5 hectares,Each type forest area accounted for 28.2%,36.2%,15.8%,80.0%,1.4%,11.3%.The largest forest area with high conservation value was landscape diversity high conservation value forests,and the second was biodiversity high conservation value forests,the last was social service function high conservation value forests.(2)According to the actual situation of the reserve,the corresponding management institutions were setted up to build the management system of the reserve and provide a strong foundation for the management of high conservation value forest.According to biodiversity high conservation value forests and ecological service conservation value forests and social and cultural function conservation value forests,different protection management strategies were proposed.The primary purpose of biodiversity conservation forest is to protect biodiversity,handling a good relationship between reserve and the residents of the reserve and strengthening legal system construction to reduce artificial forest destruction and disturbance,strengthening landscape protection and improving the landscape structure of landscape diversity high conservation value forest protection,in the area of high conservation value forest ecosystem diversity establish a separate natural protection area and the corresponding buffer,and regional monitoring on a regular basis.The ecological service function of high conservation value forest through forest preservation and classification management,monitoring,the establishment of forest management plan,achieve high protection value forest water conservation purpose.Through the joint participation of the residents around the protected areas to managed the social service function high conservation value forests.With wooden ancient traditional culture of high conservation value forests should be registered famous trees protection management system,for the traditional culture of scenic area high conservation value forests should be the main significance to carry forward the traditional culture.
