The traditinal evaluation of product design plan is consist of two processes, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis.The contents of the paper is a study focus on the methods of quantitative analysis.Based on some design theory and researches,through integrating and optimazing existing mathematic methods,the paper hopes to establish a goal-oriented method which could finish the quantitative analysis for design plan evaluation. In the paper,we define it as"Goal-Oriented Analysis Method"."Goal-Oriented Analysis Method"is a method including a process of quantizing the emotion,then accomplishing the statistic analysis by using the statistic concept and methods. In the paper,"Goal-Oriented Analysis Method"will be divided into two stages,which are emotion quantizing and data processing.Firstly, the paper will achieve the emotion quantizing according to describing emotion and evaluating emotion.Secondly,based on existing mathematic methods and statistical methods,regarding objective level as a evaluation standard, the paper will finish the data processing through testing the goodness of fit between the survay data and the attribute level of design goal. The paper expatiates the foundation and the process of emotion quantizing and data processing.The basic contents and flow of"Goal-Oriented Analysis Method"will be instituded on the base of it.And in the paper, a model of mathematical analysis for evaluating design plan will be established according to the study.Subsequently,real example will get us know what is feasibility."Goal-Oriented Analysis Method"is established with the purpose of optimizing existing mathematic methods for design plan evalution. The paper hopes to make the conclusion of design plan evaluation more objective and exact,at the same time construct an evalution system and analysis method with more visualize and transparent way,which could be understanded and accepted by industrial designers easily.The study helps us to construct a larger platform and new concept for design plan evaluation.
