In power grid construction, cost control is a important part of the power grid investment. In the construction phase, effective cost control is important to depress project cost, optimize resource configuration and facilitate corporation continual development. Against this background, this article, on the basis of the introduction of theoretical knowledge of research and application of transmission line construction project cost , combined with the actual characteristics of the cost of transmission projects of the construction process , gives a more thorough study of reasonable and effective cost control .Also, based on the depth historical background of project cost ,and a comprehensive system analysis related to the theory of project cost of transmission line construction projects , it conducts a study to explore the status quo in China Engineering Cost Management. Through methods of research to determine project cost of the transmission line construction projects, it propose fuzzy prediction and BP neural network prediction , and precise prediction analysis of project cost . At the same time, this paper gives a example of the analysis of Dingzhou - Qingyuan 500KV project construction, showing the widespread problem in the construction process of China's Power Transmission Project, the use of project cost control methods and means of the construction phase to carry out the analysis, and the final effectiveness of the corresponding measures.
