Research On The Practice Of Project Knowledge Management

At present, there are some obstacles to store and transform knowledge in the implementation of project. For example, the object-oriented project limits the project group member accumulating and transforming knowledge. And due to the limitations of time and resources, knowledge accumulation and transformation, which will actually be the bigger legacy for the project, has hardly been considered as one of the assessments. It is also difficult to establish trustful cooperation among the group members. It is unfavorable to improve efficiency of knowledge management, and thus causes the repeated efforts for pursue a particular knowledge. In a word, the spread of the project knowledge is a process from individual learning to team learning and then to organization learning. To realize this process, there should be corresponding regulations and management mechanism.With the theoretical and realistic significance, the research aims at the application of project knowledge management. Through systematic study and analyze of the theories, combining the analytical frame of this study, and exploring the long-efficiency mechanism of knowledge management, to make sure the knowledge serves for the project and meanwhile to promote the ability of continuous growth of the whole organization.Based on the previous researches and working experiences, this research analyzes the concrete problems of knowledge management, in the hope of setting up a frame of knowledge management, to help the organization become into the knowledge-typed organization and be competitive with the knowledge resource. Knowledge management is not the simply collection, process and transmission of the project knowledge, but to apply the knowledge to the project management. Through the methods and tools of knowledge management, providing sufficient intellectual support for project management, and setting up the platform for knowledge sharing and creation, to get the results and products to be applied into practice eventually.This research consists of three contents. Firstly, the theories of knowledge management is studied and refined. This research centers on the key problem of knowledge management of the project, carrying on analysis on the key elements of the project management and refining the analytical frame. Secondly, this research probes into the real cases, and analyzes the knowledge management of the case by analyzing the model of previous theory. In this part, not only will the overall project be introduced, but also the theoretical question will be discussed. Thirdly, combined the theory and realistic analysis, this research will propose the pertinent suggestions for the future project management.This research follows closely the latest studies of the project management, and centers on the theme of project knowledge management. The potential characteristics and innovation embody in: First, this research combines the project management and knowledge management in one system, and analyzes the inherent mechanism of knowledge management; Second, this research plans to design a simplified project knowledge management system, for the better understanding of the attributes of knowledge management. Third, this research chooses real cases as the research object, analyzes the situation in implementing the knowledge management of the realistic project, and obtains the instructional methods from the research.
