Study On The China Growing Into The "World Factory" Under The Background Of Economy Globalization

With China's accession to the WTO, the degree of integration into the global economy is deepening increasingly, and China's economic output and foreign trade are taking a growing share in the global economy. At present, the new round of global strategic shift and reformulation of the global manufacturing industry are being advanced. Meanwhile, global financial crisis has caused complex changes of the world economic situations and China is faced with both opportunities and challenges. Under the circumstances of economic globalization and the new international economic environment, it is the problem for which people are concerned how to achieve a breakthrough, how to fling off all restraints and how to realize the purpose of the "World Factory" by new road to industrialization. This paper seeks to explore the strategies of development under the new situation for China's economy (manufacturing industru in particular) by the systematic study on the evolution of the"world factory", the world economic development trends and China's economic advantages, the challenges,etc. by means of the combination of theory and practice.The thesis consists of four parts: for the first part, I focus on the history of evolution of "World Factory", sum up three pieces of the common characteristics in the history and analyze the possibility that Chian grows into the"world Factory"by studying research findings of the scholars at home and abroad; for the second part, I present the international and domestic advantages for China to become the " World Factory" through a series of data, considering the economical development and changes of China these years; for the third part, I Point out the restricted factors and problems in the course of economic development of China with practicl problems; for the last part,at first, I propose some of the relevant suggestions for China to grow into the"World Factory" based on the summarizing and learning the reaearch findings at home and abroad. Then, I come to the conclusion based on the analysis above that China has the ability to become the"World Fasctory". Although there are some problems during the development, China is bound to shake off the shadow of financial crisis and exert own advantages, change relative advantage to competetive advantage and become the"World Factory"in the new Age by adjusting industrial structure and taking New Path of Industrialization.
