A Study On The Business Models Of Zhongting Street Trade Area In Taijing District Of Fuzhou City

The development of modern service industry plays an important role and significance of the enhancement of the city's comprehensive competitiveness and sustained,rapid, healthy economy development.With the government's constant attention and strong support for the development of modern service industry,Zhongting street trade area in Taijiang district of Fuzhou city,where trade gathers,will face new developing opportunities.The theory of business models innovation which is proposed by professor Weng junyi of Xiamen university is generally used in this paper.This paper also uses some research methods,like visiting some government's departments,spot observing, issuing consumer sample questionnaires and so on,to analyze the business models of Zhongting street trade area.Firstly,It is introduced the business and trade history of Zhongting street trade area and its influence and bound.Secondly,the area trade's operation situation and reasons why the business model deviates the planning are showed in the main parts of this paper.And the referred reasons are that the target market about consumers is unclear, the trade's forms,functions and categories in the fellowship environment are few,the planning and management are lacked in the inside environment.Thirdly,the paper analyzes the changes of the trade area's operation environment.Finally,based the analyzed results,new business model of the trade area is brought forward.Its value-claiming is that the trade area which should develop by planning,can attract the consumers who belong to middle and more higher spending levels,and 'shopping and leisure' is as the theme of hard-core part of this trade area where various characteristic 'leisure' is showed obviously,many kinds of trade forms are mixed together,business and residential functions are prominent in the other parts of this trade area.Through a lot of methods,like the reasonable planning of the trade area,full transformation of the old commercial projects,redevelopment and utilization of historic districts in the trade area,the upgrade and richness of existing commercial projects' forms,unified management methods of the trade area and so on,the value-claiming will be realized. The value-maintaining can be realized by some methods to attract consumers and merchants.
