It is subject to the huge cost of the questionnaire survey that most of the research objects about services area of commericial facilities are single category or individual commericial facilities,thus lacking of observation of commericial network aggregates-business district.And at present,consumers' behavior is more comprehensive.Single consumption trips may have multiple motives such as shopping,dining,and play.It is necessary to discuss the service area of the business district.The emergence of interest point data has brought about a turning point for the solution of this problem.The emergence of interest point data has brought about a turning point for the solution of this problem.In this paper,we use interest point data and Huff model to investigate the business district and its scope of service in Wuhan.The main work is as follows:1.The path planning service provided by the map service platform is chosen to calculate the travel cost of the consumer in the service range recognition,so that it is more close to the reality of the consumer travel cost.2.Business districts extraction and spatial pattern characterization.The index of business activity was constructed and the business district of Wuhan was extracted.Through analysis,it is found that:l)The hierarchical structure of business district of Wuhan is like pyramid,and the number of low grade business district is the largest.2)Types can be divided into four types:shopping type,comprehensive type,diet culture type and life convenience type.3)On the spatial distribution,the number of business districts decreases from outer ring to inner ring.Most commercial areas are clustered within three rings,with a structure of one core nad two axes.2.Commercial areas extraction and spatial pattern characterization.The index of business activity was constructed and the business district of Wuhan was extracted.Through analysis,it is found that:1)The hierarchical structure of business district of Wuhan is like pyramid,and the number of low grade business district is the largest.2)Types can be divided into four types:shopping type,comprehensive type,diet culture type and life convenience type.3)On the spatial distribution,the number of business districts decreases from outer ring to inner ring.Most commercial areas are clustered within three rings,with a structure of one core nad two axes.3.Analysis of service area of business districts.Using the Huff model,the service scope and business load of each business district are identified.Some conclusions:l)There is a large gap in the range of service areas in each business district.2)In Jianghan District to Wuchang and along the Yangtze River,there are two kinds of seemingly contradictory distribution characteristics:the irregular block with a small service area.Another kind of service range is large,crossing regional distribution,mostly along the main road.It is mainly due to the intense competition in the three rings and the diversity of consumers' choices,thus making the service area of some business districts within the three rings smaller.At the same time,the business districts outside the three rings are less or lower in grade and lack of attractiveness,making the high grade business districts of Jianghan,Wuchang and other places attract a large number of consumers.4.Commericial load analysis.By calculating the commercial load of each business district,it is found that some business districts is overload.These areas are mostly located near the border of each district,such as Optics Valley in Hongshan,Yang Chunhu in Qingshan District,Xu Dong in Wuchang of Wuchang,south of Jianghan District,and Zhong Jia Village in Hanyang.Its service pressure mainly comes from Hongshan and Qingshan District,which lack commercial resources.
