HX Power Co., Ltd Competition Strategy Analysis

Power industry is always manipulated by country out of the special industry referring to fundamental living and monopoly results from scale. But,institution and investor become capable of the huge investment scale along with the development of economy.Meanwhile,it is necessary to fix the problem induced by monopoly of power industry.Until now,introducing competition into the power industry is the most popular way to reform the power system.To keep up with the globe step, China had begun to reform its own power system since 2002.The aims of this reform are broking monopoly,introducing competition,cutting cost and so on.And to make this come true,the first step is separating power plant and grid,so that introduce competition among power stations.So, power stations will firstly suffer from the disadvantages results of this reform.On the process of this reform,power companies,especially for power stations apply suitable strategies to adapt new environment and get some experience.But frequently fluctuant external environment and uncertainty of system reform forces power stations adjust strategies according to their internal strength.This thesis will express my opinion on adjustment of competitive strategy after researching strategies of HX Power Co.,Ltd:Now,the advantage of HX Power Co.,Ltd is the most advanced desulphurization and gentrification equipments.So,environment security should be included in safety production,and guaranteeing the validity of the cost leadership strategy by decreasing cost of environmental equipments.
