Starting from 1990th Century, the enterprises which involved in the economical globalization began to realize deeply that the Purchasing Function is very important for the improvement of enterprise's efficiency and competitiveness. Purchasing Management Function merged furtherly with all business activities of enterprises from 21st Century, and Purchasing Position increased from tactic function based on bargaining to strategy function based on procedure. Accordingly, Purchasing and Supply Chain Management is considered by people who concern with organization management as an important strategy activity. And it is also considered as an important learned theory.And retailing Purchasing Management is one of key factors to decide retailing price, to decide if the enterprise can be competitive or not in the severe competition in retailing industry.This article makes use of the study method of combining theory and practices, analyses the Purchase Theory and Purchase Strategy at the beginning, study Retailing Purchasing Function and Principal, the different types of Retailing Purchase and Purchasing way, work over the basic model of retailing Purchase. After that, make a further research for international retailing purchase from the aspects of the feasibility, benefits and risks, expounding the different ways of international purchasing. All the above are the academic base for this thesis. Based on the above theory, the article mainly analyzes the Home Furnishing Company CONFORAMA, in which the author works as the sourcing manager, from the aspects of CONFORAMA purchasing system and model, suppliers management, quality control and delivery performance control, and the IT software system supporting. After that, compare it with IKEA, from designing and IPR, centralized purchasing ways and dispersive purchasing way, and supplier's management, find out the strength and weakness of CONFORAMA on purchasing management. Focused on the weakness, the author made specially suggestions on its improvement. 1) Adopt the purchasing model of combination of centralized and partially dispersive purchase. 2) Reinforce the designing patent, control the beginning of the supplier chain. 3) Reasonable order management, reduce the logistic cost. 4) Strengthen the suppliers' management, cut the quantity of suppliers, centralize suppliers, and develop the long term relationship with suppliers.The conclusion of the article is: The home furnishing retailers should adopt the suitable purchasing model based on their own situation, centralized purchase, dispersive purchase or combination of them. Partially dispersive purchase based on centralization is the trend of the chain retailers. Reinforce the direct purchasing to low down the purchasing cost. Retailing Purchase Management should strengthen the management of suppliers, quality and delivery control, price control, take fully use of software and procedure, make information transparent, and train the purchasing team systematically. The innovation of this thesis is: Retailers should develop the long term business relationship with suppliers. Good and stable relationship with suppliers is the base for home furnishing purchase management. Take the shoe of suppliers, consider how to help suppliers to save cost, is the key to obtain long term low purchasing price for retailers, is the key to keep the priority in market. Hopefully these analysis and study can be helpful for the domestic retailing industry.
