Recalling the history of economics, the British classical political economist William Petty in the 17th century earlier use mathematical tools as a means of economic analysis that can be seen as the embryonic form of mathematical model in economics. With the continuous development of economics, both in theory and applications, mathematics is playing an important role. For a summary and classification of economic models have become important. In this paper, I focus on the specific realization of economic models through the use of MATLAB, Excel and other software. The first chapter of this article describes on the basis knowledge of economic models and classification. In accordance with the use of different methods, the economic model is classified as the econometric model, the input-output model, the economic optimization model and the mathematical economic models. The second chapter is devoted to the basic knowledge of an econometric model and the methods on modeling. I describe in detail the econometric model in the application of survival models and show how to estimate the determined parameters, and gives an example finally. The third chapter gives the theoretical knowledge of the input-output model and the history of development. I calculate a typical example with the use mathematical software and discuss the limitations of input-output model.Chapter IV presents the optimization model and some applications. Through the issue of income leisure studies, I illustrate the most widely used optimization economic model: mathematical programming model.Chapter V introduces mathematical economic models and focuses on European-style option pricing model.
