The Enlightenment Of 《The Theory Of Moral Sentiments》 Of Adam·Smith For Moral Construction Of Our Country

The study of the problem of moral construction under the condition of Social Market Economy has extremely significant meanings of theory and practice.The essay analyses the moral ideas Adam·Smith insisted in,and the juncture it connects with moral construction under the condition of present Market Economy and the meaning for reference through interpretion of《The Theory of Moral Sentiments》of Adam·Smith in order to offer the reference for the ways of moral construction in china.To begin with,the essay simply introduce Adam·Smith's life,works and ideas,and clearly explain several concepts like "Economic Man","Moral Person","The Invisible Hand" and so on,that can greatly help to improve his moral ideas in order to make the readers greatly know Adam·Smith.Then I logically analyses the forming process of ethics that its book explains.And clarifies such key points of key ways of logic as "Sympathy","Spectator","Appropriate".It introduce some kinds of ethics such as Predence,Kindness,Justice,and Controlling that he advocated in his book.On the basis of it I evalue his ethical ideas from traditional Liberalism,Individualism and the Enlightenment Movement.I find the junction that it contacts with our moral construction Marxist leading idea,traditional culture of China and common features of Market Economy.At last I conclude that under the condition of Social Market Economy we should stick to the measures and ways.That is to say:not only do we give play to the function of spontaneous ethics of the market,but also we should persist in the leading of social ethics in order to overcome the spontaneous function and being blind.So we should improve social political and economic system and bring into play the function of the administration and legal construction in the field of moral construction.
