Since the introduction of the socialist market economy, the Chinese society has undergone rapid changes, economic prosperity, social stability and achievements gained world attention.Market economy effectively configure the manpower and resources, improve the creativity and enthusiasm of the labor body, and thus promote the rapid development of China’s economy. But the worrying thing is that the economy has yielded results, it appears the moral landslide. Driven by the market economy acquisitiveness, phenomenon of corruption, favoritism, unscrupulous, swindling etc. are common. These negative social phenomena harm the interests of the people, ruin the mood of society, and bring bad effect to the socialist construction. On the theoretical level,it has important theoretical and practical significance for the analysis of ethical issues to reveal the roots of the market economy of moral decline and seek possibilities and ways to solve problems.The first part introduces the conditions of the socialist market economy status of research ethics issues in the academic community,overviews of the scholars’ main views, analyze them and comment,which depend on market economy and morality blending and repulsion relations.The second part describes the market economy, the connotation of socialist market economy, ethics, and many other concepts,focuses on understanding the inherent prescriptive of the concepts from historical evolution of the economy and grasps historic heritage of the concepts.Papers on the one hand reveals the complex internal repulsion between utilitarian, heteronomy, egoism of market economy and ultra-utilitarian morality, self-discipline, altruism of morality, indicating that the market economy immoral phenomenon not uncommon, not simply due to cultural or psychological reasons, but has profound social and economic causes;The paper also highlights the other hand, the market economy and morality in the compatibility of the historical process, suggesting the inevitability of economic alienation in the history of the field, the full development of alienation precisely, constitutes a conscious cultivation of moral subjects, establishes free and comprehensive development of material and spiritual foundations of society.The third part of the paper describes the moral crisis of the market economy’s performance in various fields, trying to parse out the root causes of the phenomenon of moral anomie, seeking an opportunity to solve their associated paths from both the intrinsic relationship between morality compatible with the market economy.This paper argues that the root of Chinese moral decline is due to incompatibility of market economy and morality for some extent, seeking profit,utilitarian of market economy have repulsion with the socialist core values.It is a remarkable fact that, in China, market economy has the nature of socialism,the public ownership as the mainstay of the socialist economic system for the establishment of a socialist moral system provides a security system; In addition, through the study of support from the spirit of capitalism behind market economy of capitalist society, to seek China’s spirit of market economy, trying to combine positive Confucianism and the market economy and serve socialist construction; we should take attention to the system,focus on improving fairness and justice,especially with regard to fairness,justice issues of people’s livelihood,thus,we can promote the development of the "two civilizations";Of course,in the final analysis,we can develop the productive forces,abandon market economy and achieve communism,which can be seen as the final aim.As is mentioned,all of these above provide compatibility of socialist market economy and the moral construction with conditions of the possibility.
