Based On The Return Policy To Optimize The Supply Chain Cooperation

As the rapid development of the economic globalization in 21st century, the enterprise needs to face many new opportunities and new challenge, for example: The product refresh rate speeds up, customer's demand are more and more diverse and personalized, the difficulty of development enlarges, the product life cycle to be getting more and more short unceasingly. Under this kind of complex environment, enterprise, if wants to survive, need to cater to the customers'demand positively, raise the efficiency, and reduce the cost. Most enterprises, only depends upon the single enterprise own diligently to obtain the survival competitive power, is very difficult, because present enterprise's own internal management and the cooperation had been very perfect. That the enterprise wants to enhance the competition by reducing the cost significantly is Low-efficient. Therefore, we need to consider the collaborative management of enterprise's upstream suppliers and the downstream partners; only in this way can we obtain the potential of cost savings, which is the focus of the chain management.Nowadays, the coordinated supply chain member-enterprise's effective cooperation have already become one of the key contents of the chain manages. Because each member-enterprise is independent, pursues own benefit maximization, which causes the enterprise considers little about other member-enterprise's benefit. Thus, the cooperation between member-enterprises is difficulty. Such is"the dual boundary effects"in the supply chain cooperation process. Making cooperation contract between the supply chain members by consulting could establish the long-term partnership, encourage both sides pay more attention to long-term, overall interest, avoid the harm to the entire supply chain's overall benefit because of short-term, partial benefit. Thereby, the cooperation contract has become the main research technique in the chain management. Because the contract can rise the entire supply chain's operating efficiency, enhance the supply chain member's competitive power.Through the reading and research of literature related, this article systematically introduced the supply chain management cooperation contract research, mainly described the incentive mechanism and the return policy. The main work is following two aspects:(1) Analysis of the supply chain cooperation of the Research Status, seeking partners to consider the principle of profit maximization. We can collaborate by setting a reasonable policy to meet the expectations of partners require to maximize their profits,and the supply chain to achieve optimal overall.(2) Studied the cooperation between a supplier and many retailers based on newsboy model, namely coordinating the cooperation between a supplier and many retailers by the return policy. Suppose that the forecast of the retailer and the actual sale have deviation, divide the sales season into two stages, between the first stage and the second stage, supplier gives the retailer a chance to adjust the second stage reserve by providing a return price, to make the retailers who ordered excessive goods return the goods unsold ahead of time in the second stage. In terms of the retailers who did not order sufficient goods, could make up for the inaccurate forecast before the sales season by timely supplement. In terms of the suppliers, could also optimize the allocation of their own resources by this return strategy.(3) When studying the cooperation between a supplier and a retailer, the supplier cooperates the cooperation among the member-enterprises by providing the reward policy and the return policy. Before the sale season, the supplier formulates a sale quantity standard, after the sales season, if retailer's sales quantity is bigger than this quantity standard, the supplier gives the related reward to the excess of the number based on the reward policy, if retailer's sales quantity is smaller than this quantity standard, the supplier will carry out the return policy, permit the retailer return the product unsold according to the return price. In terms of retailer, such cooperation policy is more user-friendly in reality, because it gave the retailer the chance to choose the cooperation policy in line with their own interests. Meanwhile, in terms of supplier, through the establishment of the reasonable quantity standard, the reward policy and the return policy, could prompt the retailer to make the most superior order quantity and the most superior level, which will thus satisfy the profit maximization of the supply chain.In the end of the paper, there is the summary and prospect of the formulation of cooperation contract between the members of the supply chain enterprises.
