Research On Problems And Improvement Of Disclosing Environment Information By The Enterprise And Implementing Environmentally Sound Economic Policies

Green credit, Green Insurance and Green Securities, these environmentally sound economic policies, were jointly launched by Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP), China Banking Regulatory Commission (CBRC), China Insurance Regulatory Commission (CIRC) and China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC). These policies aim to improve compliance with environmental regulations by restricting access to commercial credit of Chinese companies, by requiring polluting enterprises to buy tickets for their projects against the risk of possible environmental pollution, or by making it harder for polluters to raise capital. The implement of environmentally sound economic policies can urge the enterprise to protect the environment, can help the bank to cut down the amount of bad assets, can help insurance companies to avoid the operating risk caused by environment risk, can help securities regulators to ensure the stability of the stock market, so that make some contributions to the protection of the environment.This thesis includes six parts, the first part mainly describes the support of this study from the current social and economic environment, the significance of the study and the goal we want to achieve; the second part simply reviews the documents related to the content we study in the paper; the third part explains the necessity and the current situation of the environment information disclosure; the fourth part elaborates the application of the environment information disclosure in"Green credit, Green Insurance and Green Securities"; the fifth part is the major part of the thesis, and it describes the effect of the implement of three environmentally sound economic policies, and especially takes"the report of social responsibility of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China in the year 2007"as an example, and then elaborates the influence on the enterprise by environmentally sound economic policies by the example of the report of social responsibility of the State Grid in recent four years; the sixth part raises some suggestions to enhance environment information disclosure and to improve the environmentally sound economic policies.
