The Research Of Jinan Metropolitan Integration Development

With economic globalization and regional integration, economic activity patterns of spatial organization are tending to the city and region integration,some modern international metropolitan areas have been grown rapidly in the world. And they are gradually becoming the center of controling and coordinating of world economic affairs and the new power of the world economic development. The research on metropolitan areas by Chinese academicians started at 1980s,from that time on,this economic model have been warm. At present, the three most famous metropolitan areas have come into being in China including GretaYantz River metropolitan area,Pearl River metropolitan area and the capital Metropolitan Coordinating Region.The issues related to the metropolitan area have come the focus of theories. Many scholars have done a great deal of researches both theories and cases on metropolitan areas.Take Jinan metropolitan area (Zibo,Taian,Laiwu,Dezhou,Liaocheng, Bizhou)in Shandong province as a case.On the base of quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis,the possibility for developing Jinan metropolitan area is analysed and the problems of integrating Jinan metropolitan are demonstrated. Based on these,some suggestions for integrating and developing Jinan metropolitan area are proposed.First,chapter one is about background and significance of topics. Second, correlative theories of metropolitan area are summarized, concluding concept,feature, function of metropolitan area and researches on metropolitan at home and abroad . They establish the theory frame for this paper. Second, the development patten of metropolitan in our country are analysed to supply practical experience on developing metropolitan. Third,the gravitationg model are adopted to measure the space boundary of Jinan metropolitan area.Then,from the aspects of total economic output,traffic condition,industry condition,enterprise condition and problems that existed, Jinan metropolitan area are demonstrated the possibility and necessity of integration and development. At last,the emphasis on Jinan metropolitan area integration are proposed. As an applied study,this thesis puts forward several designs and suggestions on promoting the integration and development of Jinan metropolitan area.
