The Study On The Evaluation Of Developmental Potential And Developmental Countermeasures Of Bayannur's Small Towns

As"the tail of city and the head of country", small towns not only play important role on urbanization in China, but also are the most effective way to solving the problem of urban and rural area. So, this research about small towns has very significantly leading sense.Due to the consideration, this paper will be based on systemic analysis methods of geography and be led by multiple system theories of society-economy-nature. Beside, it also adopts the method of combining with qualitative and quantitative analysis, demonstrative and normative research. Through these, the paper did an in-depth exploration and study on developmental potential of small towns in Bayannur city. Including the following three contents:1. Surveying and analyzing the constructive status and existent problem of small towns in Bayannur city, proved the need of study;2. Combined with above research contents, and according to certain basic principles, the paper designed evaluative system of developmental potential for Bayannur's small towns, including five aspects: location condition,population size,economic level,infrastructure construction and quality of life. Adopting analytic hierarchy process and principal component analysis as well as a combination of them, comprehensibly evaluated results, which are divided into four categories according to their developmental potential, and development advantages and restrict factors of each category towns are different, which make detailed explanation in the paper.3. Through the analysis of restrict factors, the paper puts forward strategic comments and suggestions for enhancing the developmental potential of Bayannur's small towns on the classifiable and overall sights. In conclusion, the paper studies developmental potential and analyses countermeasures for Bayannur's small towns, which not only established theoretic foundation for roundly enhancing competition of Bayannur's small towns, but also gave direction for speeding up the urbanization transformation, and promoting the process of urbanization; also provided guidance meaning for strength the impetus of economic development, promoting all-round progress of Bayannur's small towns, and achieving a virtuous circle of economic and society. Ultimately, it is good for healthy and orderly development of Bayannur's small towns.
