Research On Accounting Of Assets Securitization

Asset securitization is a financial product which has the fastest development and the most vigor in the modern international capital market. It can get the money and change the structure of assets and liabilities by structuring ingeniously a transaction, and transferring the illiquid assets to liquid and marketable securities.China began to pilot assets securitization in the year of 2005, and it still in the infancy and exploration phase. In our country, Asset Securitization Accounting is also at the initial stage of exploration,which has a major impact on the development of asset securitization. The construction of relevant laws and regulations are not perfect. Although the Ministry of Finance has introduced the"pilot securitization of credit assets accounting", Accounting Standards No.23:"Financial assets confer"and other relevant laws and regulations, there are some questions need to discuss in specific terms. On the basis of comparative analysis of international accounting standards, China and the United States Financial Accounting Standards regulations related to the accounting treatment of asset securitization, this paper researches the first domestic asset securitization case-profit plan of china Unicom's CDMA Internet rent charge, and emphasis on problem of accounting.As the core of entire business,Asset securitization sponsors'accounting treatment is also most important. So we make the accounting treatment of sponsors as our main study object. The accounting treatments of asset securitization include mainly accounting recognition, measurement, consolidated financial statements required in asset securitization and disclosure.At last, this paper puts forward the suggestion for further perfecting asset securitization's accounting standards on the basis of the previous discusses, and expects that the analysis can make a practical guiding effort on accounting of developing vigorously asset securitization, especially enterprise asset securitization.
