The Empirical Study On Influence Of Private Relationship On Channel Contract

Contract theory sprung up in the 20th century 60s, and it was a very popular research area in the international academic community. Contract theory attempts to reveal the relationship between rational economic agents, which is different from classical economics studying on impersonal price mechanism. However, like all of the scientific research, there are branches or schools in the interior of contract theory, and there is still a relationship of inheritance and development between them. From the general trend, with the deep study, the hot spot of contract theory research is transferring from completely contract theory to incomplete contract.First, the thesis extracts two key factors based on characteristics of incomplete contract, such as remaining rights and transaction costs, puts private relationship and the contract relationship in a framework, and analyzes the influence of private relationship on the key factors of channel contract and influence of the degree of incomplete contract on remaining rights and transaction costs. Secondly, the thesis uses the questionnaires to investigate distributors of Anhui Liuguo chemical Ltd. According to the empirical examination, the results are as follows. There is a positive relationship between the degree of incomplete contract and remaining rights and transaction costs of channel members. There is a negative relationship between private relationship of channel members and remaining rights and transaction costs of channel members. There is a negative relationship between transaction costs of channel members and the level of cooperation of them. There is a positive relationship between remaining rights of channel members and the conflicts of them. There is a negative relationship between private relationship of channel members and conflicts of them. Finally, we put forward the limitations and prospect for future research according to the results of the study.
