As a fast-developing form of network application, blog can be used for the accumulation of personal knowledge and the communication among different people. Because of its personality, openness, interactivity and instantaneity, blog takes a new feeling to the user and develops fast in China. Blog is involving and influencing the social economy in its own way and attracts great attentions on its commercial value, also. However not all the enterprises pay high attentions on blog-markting and not all the enterprises paid high attentions on blog-markting have reached their purpose. Because the profit model of blog-markting is unclear ,a lot of blog service providers are still facing with how to obtain sufficient funds to maintain the normal operating. Therefore,how to identify the commercial value of blog-marketing and then how to transform the commercial value of blog-marketing into real profits effectively ,is the first problem to be faced with.In this paper, the articles about blog-markting profit model and commercial value both at home and abroad were summarized, the concept of blog-markting profit model and commercial value were defined, the characters of blog-markting and the composition of profit model were studied ,and sorted out the theory base of this research firstly.Secondly, based on the long-tail theory and the attention economy theory, the commercial value of blog-markting was analyzed from a characteristics of the user from the characteristics of blog users and the features of blog marketing aspect.Thirdly, the profit model of blog-markting was defined, the traditional main profit model of blog-markting was studied through elemental analysis. Then, the new profit model of blog-markting and industrial value chain of blog was formed.Last, on the foundation of comparing the profit models, the potential profit model was indicated. Thus, come to the conclusion of this research. I hope that this paper will be helpful to the blog service provider, enterprises and blogger.
