We are in the moment of truth of building socialism market economy. Market economy is to exert the basic function of the market, is to exert the independence of the enterprises, is to exert indirect administration of the government and is to exert the adjustment of the law. Market economy asks for strict partitions of the responsibility, the power and the benefit of organizations. It is the main task of the theory of boundary-management to make the partition truth by the research of the organizations boundaries. Boundary management is a managing theory and managing method firstly proposed by western scholars.Organization-boundary-management is a management mode with organizational boundaries as its research objects, recognizing boundaries, confirming boundaries, indurating boundaries and adjusting boundaries as its research contents. I think, boundaries as the base of building and developing organizations, without which ,I think, organizations would get into mess or construct repeatedly and competing malignantly ,this would be waste of resources. Within department, some phenomena such as exceed authority, contend for power, offside position, absent position and so on would be presented, which will badly harm to developing of an organization. It is of great importance to the government and enterprise that we scan renewedly organizational boundaries and even build new boundaries. The realistic needs for the theory and the method.Boundary management of organizations has been given much attention by scholars and managers abroad, many scholars home have already been in research of this new theory and method of management, however, the research have just been underway; otherwise, it is because of the diversity and complexity of "boundaries", that adds much difficulties to the analysis and research. The article try to find out the springboard of boundary management" by the analysis of "organizations boundaries" and to conclude the conception of "boundary management". Whereafter, the article want to find out the inspirations of the boundary-management to now Chinese management by the analysis of past Chinese management and western boundary- management's development and the-two differences. Finally, the article point out the importance of boundary-management to china-management and to our practice.
