Computer Integrated Manufacturing System (CIMS) was presented by American Dr. Joseph Harrington. Several tens of years passed, CIM has been one kind of philosophy and a new management concept in our country: Contemporary Integration Manufacturing. When CIMS is carried out successfully, it can help the company to enhance their ability and solve problems they face under this economic environment. Though CIMS projects'successful rate was enhanced those years, there were many CIMS projects finished with failure. We need to evaluate the company and the CIMS project before we begin our investment during its lifetime, we can adjust the direction if we away from the primal intention.This paper expounds the question manufacturing faced under 21 century economic feature and how to solve it: using CIM philosophy and CIMS to enhance company's ability. But now we meet much difficulty during the project because of complexity of function, complexity of object, randomicity, diversity of restriction or it even can't obtain what the company needs. To enhance successful rate of CIMS project, we need evaluate the company and the CIMS project before it was started.Base on evaluation theory and the difficulty in the CIMS evaluation,this paper will use generalized complementation idea to analysis imperfection and unilateralism of existed evaluation indications and study new indications during development of CIM philosophy. We use expert method to select evaluation indications and optimize them, then we use AHP to get the weight of indications. Using this kind of idea and method will establish full-scale indicators, and it can adjust indicator structure to CIMS developing.For the moment, CIMS evaluation algorithms are independently. Nothing is perfect, the algorithm is. In this paper, analysis the excellent and disadvantage of each algorithm, then take the essence and discard the dregs. We can use grey evaluation to solve poor information, but the data itself is fuzzy, so we take fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to continue. And the integration of algorithm is accord with evaluation development.At last, the paper taken an example to analysis and validate the GHDF integrated algorithm. Then do a short sum-up and prospect to this paper. .
