A Research On The Development Model Of "3+5" Urban Agglomeration In Hunan Province From The View Of Agglomeration Economies

With the acceleration of the economic globalization, informationization and networking, the competition which takes place among countries and regional areas more and more reflects as the competition between urban agglomerations. The existence of urban agglomerations is characterized by regional urbanization and urban regionalization and is created by agglomeration and diffusion. With the regional economic integration, the development of urban agglomerations affects the international competitiveness of the country.Therefore, creation urban agglomeration has become the main economic development strategy in many countries or local governments.The Yangtze River Delta,Pearl River Delta and Jing-Jin-Tang regions have formed the development situation about urban agglomerations.It proves that the development strategy of urban agglomerations complies with the national conditions and this strategy is good for promoting coordinated development of region.As the region of the densest cities and the most developed social economy in Hunan province, "3+5"urban agglomeration has been attached great importance from the central to local governments and from the government to public.Taking "3+5"urban agglomeration in Hunan province as the object of study, this thesis researches thorouhgly on the development model of the urban agglomeration.After consulting a great many references, this thesis collects and summarizes this article study the related basic theory. By analyzing the concept and economic connotation of urban agglomeration,the anther demonstrates the essence of agglomeration economics in the urban agglomeration and concludes the power mechanism about the formation and development of urban agglomeration and analysises the interaction between urban agglomerations and industrial clusters. Through comparing with the development of the ripe urban agglomerations,this thesis sums up the development model of three respcets of the urban agglomerations, including spatial structure, operational mechanism and organizational management.Meanwhile, this article carries on the realistic basis analysis to "3+5"urban agglomeration,unifies the data,does the synthesis analysis on the present situation and the main issues of the economic zone. From the analysis,we conclude that the development level of "3+5" urban agglomeration is not high at present,but it has very great development potential.Based on the previous analysis, this paper ascertains the development model of "3+5" urban agglomeration in Hunan province.According to the actual conditions of "3+5" urban agglomeration in Hunan province, the essay perfects and improves the selected model, and proposes the suggestions to "3+5" urban agglomeration.
