As the cradle of the world civilization, China and India, two of the four ancient nations, have written a gorgeous page on the history book, making considerable contributions to the economic development and the advancement of the world civilization. For the past 20 years, China and India, the two biggest developing countries with the largest populations in the world, have developed economy to overcome poverty and benefit their people, finally, succeeded in positioning themselves in the globe.Recent years have witnessed the emergence of Chinese and Indian economy and their growing importance in the globe affairs. Meanwhile, there is an unprecedented and increasing development in bilateral trade and economic exchange between china and India, from $3oomillion plus in 1992 to $51.3billion in 2008, which indicates that two economies are complementary to each other well in trade. China, overtaking United States, has become Indian biggest trade partner, and India, the Chinese biggest one in south Asia. Nevertheless, as two biggest nations in Asia and two nations with the largest population in the world, China and India still have a lot to do in their trade, economic development and coverage. Nowadays, both sides bear a steady development in bilateral trade. Taking into consideration the influence and importance of political relationship between two countries in trade and economic development, the essay starts with the brief introduction of Sino India relations, especially since the foundation of the People's Republic of China. Then the essay covers the current condition of trade between two nations, in particular, the changes in Sino India trade scale. Dramatic changes have taken place in trade development in both countries. Then we come to the existing feature in Sino -India trade and a more detailed description by analyzing the structure of its commercial trade. the essays then covers the further research and analysis in the existing issue, such as the trade conflicts and the unsatisfying commercial structure then we'll analyze the influential factors in Sino India trade such as the political and boundary issue, the rapid economic development ,the improvement of infrastructure(especially the possibilities that the traffic will be largely improved in both nations) and the wishes on both sides to strengthen the economic relations(contributing to the further development in Sino India trade) based on the analysis we've covered in the last part. but, on the other side, senses of ambit ion and competition prevailed in India and issues existed in both nations have hampered the rapid development in bilateral trade. the common policies Two nations have adopted in agriculture and in energy field under the frame of WTO, the effort both sides spared in investment, and the cooperation between these two developing countries will lead to a closer connection in trade and further improvement and development between two countries.The essay is divided into five parts.Part1. Preface. A brief introduction of the selected topic, the recent research(at home and abroad) and the method adopted in the research.Part2. The current situation of Sino-India trade. This part covers the history of the relation between two nations, laying emphasis on the current situation, involving the changes in trade scale and commercial structure, and the conflicts brought with the development of economy.Part3. Influential factors in bilateral trade between two countries, both positive and negative ones. The harmonious relations between two nations, the economic development and the wishes of two sides to develop bilateral trade, and the complement of economic structure have all made positive contributions to the development in bilateral trade. However, the infrastructure in India, political bias and some other reasons on china part have hampered the development of bilateral tradePart4. Some suggestions on the nation and enterprise part to the development in Sino-India trade both in micro and macro viewPart5. With the emergence of two countries, they will strength the cooperative relations and the collaboration in common benefits to promote the peaceful process of both nations. Thus achieved a much closer connection in bilateral trade.
