A Study Of Cooperate Purchasing And Quantity Discount

As the rapid development of technology and economic, the global competence is increasing everyday. The previous competence between single enterprise can not see any more, insteading, is the competence between the entire supply chains. In this environment, coordinating the relationship of supply chain members and realize the optimizing goal is the pivotal part in the management of supply chain, the cooperate purchasing of retailers and quantity discount of suppliers are two effective mechanisms, so the researching on cooperate purchasing and quantity discounting has the great significance both in theory research and actual operation.The paper presented the background, significance, theory researches both in home and broad firstly. Then the related knowledge of cooperate purchasing and quantity discount was stated. Theory analysis and positive analysis were used to analyse the benefit produced from implement of cooperate purchasing and quantity discount under certainty demand and random demand two cases. Summary and prospect was stated at last.The advantage of cooperate purchasing and quantity discount was analysed in detail.Firstly,Normal cooperate purchasing model and product choiceness subset model were built between two heterogeneity retailers under certainty demand, multi-cycle storage model which product cost and order dealing cost were took into was built under random demand. Secondly, the solutions of models was got under in the case of wholesale price case, then done value analysis of the solutions,the result show that retailers has cooperate purchasing motivation if the coordination cost is low, and choiceness subset cooperate purchasing is better than normal cooperate purchasing. In the case of certainty demand, cooperate purchasing is also in suppliers'favor, and choiceness subset cooperate purchasing is not always more favorable to suppliers than normal cooperate purchasing.In the case of random demand, cooperate purchasing can benefit both of retailers and suppliers just in the case that suppliers' produce preparation and dealing cost is high. The supplier's quantity discount project was designed, then done value analysis, the result show that the project can benefit both of retailers and suppliers if the price discount rate is moderate, and the price discount rate has impact on the distribution of added profit.In the case that supplier providing quantity discount, retailers and suppliers can also benefit from cooperate purchasing.Thirdly, done quantitative analysis of the impact that cooperate purchasing on retailers'supply capacity, the result show that cooperate purchasing can increase retailers'supply level in supply cycle and product supply rate, consequently, improving customer satisfaction.
