The construction of inland port has entered the "hot build" period from 90 20th century. The construction of inland port accelerates the development of regional economic and export-oriented economy and achieves customs foreign trade exports or closed off in the local. It relieves the pressure on the main harbor port and improves the collection and distribution of the condition. It makes imported goods directly into the warehouse door of mainland enterprises. It achieves international multimodal transport "door to door" transport service mode. The most serious problem is the inland ports which has been built are seriously vacant or poor operational efficiency. Inland port is a large engineering. The construction requires a lot of money and large-scale land resources and a lot of money. Once the vacancy is serious, it will result in a serious waste of land resources. It will bring great impact the overall planning of inland city. The losses will be huge. Therefore, in order to avoid further spread of this phenomenon, it must make scientific planning before construction of inland port and the most important is the planning of location. There are many risks in the inland port location. For example the limitation understanding of inland port and myopic risk management awareness of the inland port location and uncertainty of subjective factors and ambiguity of objective informationThis paper is based on the above background from the risk of inland port. Firstly this paper introduces the theory of the inland port and inland port location and analysis the possible risk which inland port location brought based on the theory of risk and risk management. Inland port location risk factors into five major categories. They are the risk of transport demand, transport supply risk, the policy environment risks, technical risks and economic risks. It establishes the risk factors for inland port location indicator system and uses the binary comparison method (subjective) and entropy (objective) to determine the weight and then combines the weight. It makes the evaluation of the risk of inland port location by using the gray fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. It combines theoretical and practical and carries out a numerical example. This paper deepened the understanding of the risks of inland port location and the scientific risk assessment of inland port location comprehensive Evaluation by the study on the risk of inland port location, it will play a positive significance on the construction of inland port.
