An Empirical Research Of The Trade Income Gap In China

Since the reform and opening, the income gap among different industries of China has expanded, and of which a considerable portion of the income gap is unreasonable. The too much income gap among different industries has drawn the attentions from all walks of life, but the quantitative researches in the academic world with some systematic methods on such problem are rare, and most of the current literatures are researches based the view of system factors.After carrying on somewhat systematic statistic research on the income gap among different industries, with the theory of human capital as orientation, this paper makes research on the influences and effect of the human capital on the income gap among different industries, in order to fulfill and improve the application researches of human capital theory on the problem of income gap of different industries. This paper selects the difference of monopoly and human capital differences, and labor level differences as the main influence factors to analysis the trade income gap among different industries. the results show that the income gap among different industries expanded in recent years, human capital level and expand trade labor productivity difference are the main reason for the wage difference. Besides, the difference of monopoly industries has more important influence, the influence is bigger. Therefore, this paper provides some policy suggestions, such as:consummating the Labor market, the optimization of human capital in various configuration, introducing competition mechanism to reduce the level of monopoly and increasing the education input and so on.
