Research On Transaction And Pricing Mechanism Of Transgenic Biological Material In Demand Uncertainty Situation

21 century has witnessed so many significant achievements from Molecular Biology field in Biology Science, among which a series of bio-technology achievements represented by genetic transforming, cell amalgamation and biological reactor technology has been widely applied to the Medical Treatment, Agriculture, Environment Protection, Light Chemical Industry and Food Industry. Many relevant products have been introduced to the market and a new blooming Bio-technology industry is arising in the civil economy. The industrialization of Biotechnology is effecting and changing the appearance of "New Economy" with its unique concept and model, thus the concept of "Biological Economy" is emerging. From the historical experience, any arising of new economic form is always followed by the bloom of economic theory research on the relevant product, industry as well as organization type. As the technological product with "raw and processed materials" nature in up-stream of Bio-technology research field, transgenic biological material is holding the balance in the Bio-technology research, this kind of product also brings great business value for its provider. On the other side, since transgenic biological material is a special product with a series of biological genetic code information, whose most target customers are bio-technology research institutes, the unique technical and economic traits have determined its great uncertainty on market demand. It is concluded that there are a few finds in the thesis as followed:1. The transaction traits of transgenic biological material are composed of economic traits, cost structure, market structure as well as customer demand traits, which determine the vital question to be answered in the transaction and pricing of transgenic biological material: on the one hand, the information asymmetry degree between provider and demander should be decreased as most as possible; on the other hand, the reason of demand uncertainty should be analyzed, thus reasonable pricing strategy or institutional resolvent can be proposed according to different demand uncertainty.2. At present, the primary transaction types of transgenic biological material in market include patent rights transaction, bundle sales and so on, which have partly solved the demand uncertainty problem as well as the information asymmetry problem on product quality and utility between provider and demander of transgenic biological material.3. Based on analysis of the demand uncertainty factors, when demand is randomly disturbed as transgenic biological material can be used for free academic communication tool by customers, the best production and price decision model is constructed, solved and analyzed.
